NeuroAccess™

Terms and Conditions

Effective September 18, 2026 · Version 2026-09-18.2

1. About these terms

NeuroAccess™ is a brain-health and mental-health app provided by Hope & Haven International ("Hope & Haven", "we", "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NeuroAccess mobile and web app and the services behind it (together, the "App").

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What NeuroAccess is — and is not

NeuroAccess helps you recognize possible brain-health and mental-health concerns, track symptoms, learn, prepare to advocate for your care, and find resources, including a directory of care options in Florida.

NeuroAccess is a screening and care-navigation tool. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for professional care. In particular:

  • It does not diagnose any medical or mental-health condition. Screening results show a level of concern, not a diagnosis.
  • It does not provide emergency medical care or crisis counseling.
  • It does not clear anyone to return to sports, school, or work. Those decisions must be made by qualified professionals under applicable state rules and organizational policies.
  • Educational materials and advocacy templates are for information only and are not legal or medical certifications.

Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional about any health concern, and never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read or saw in the App.

3. Emergencies

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or go to the nearest emergency department.

For emotional crisis support in the United States, call or text 988, or use the 988 online chat.

When certain answers indicate a possible emergency, the App shows crisis resources instead of a result. The App does not contact emergency services or anyone else on your behalf.

4. Who can use NeuroAccess

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. The App is not intended for children under 13.

If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the App only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who should help you set it up and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

A parent, caregiver, or professional who sets up the App for someone else is responsible for having the authority to do so.

5. Your account

You need an account to use the App. Crisis resources, privacy information, and these Terms are available without one. Your records are kept on your device and saved to your account, so they are backed up and available on your other devices.

You agree to give accurate account information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.

If you register as a healthcare professional, you agree that the license and practice details you give are true. We may review them and may limit professional features until they are verified. Using the App does not create a clinician–patient relationship between any professional and any other user, or between you and Hope & Haven.

6. Sharing your information

The App lets you connect with a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or school or coach support, and export summaries of your records. Sharing only happens when you choose it, is limited to what you select, and can be revoked in the App.

You are responsible for choosing whom you share with. Once someone has received a summary or export, we cannot control what they do with it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for anyone else without their permission, or impersonate another person or professional;
  • access or try to access another person's records without their permission;
  • interfere with, probe, or disrupt the App or its security, or use automated means to access it;
  • copy, resell, or reverse engineer the App except as the law allows;
  • use the App in a way that breaks the law or harms others.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

8. Resources and third-party services

The resource directory, articles, and referrals are provided for information. Listing a provider or organization is not an endorsement or a guarantee of availability, eligibility, cost, or quality. Please confirm details directly with the provider.

Links may take you to websites and services we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

9. Content and ownership

The App, its design, and its content belong to Hope & Haven or its licensors. Screening questionnaires remain the property of their authors and are used as permitted. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for its intended purpose.

You own the information you enter. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the App to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and changes

NeuroAccess is in a pilot phase. Features may change, and the App may sometimes be unavailable. We may modify or discontinue parts of the App. Records you keep on your device remain available without a network connection.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that screening results are complete or correct for your situation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Hope & Haven and its staff, volunteers, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Ending your use

You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your account from the Privacy & safeguards screen or your account screen. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. The version date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make a material change, we will ask you to review and accept the new Terms in the App before you continue using your account.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to Hope & Haven International through hopeandhaven.org/neuroaccess/support.
